Development of an Audit Plan

In order to ensure service quality and to control service performance an audit concept was developed. This allows the client a rapid detection of disturbances and fast respond to them. Therefore, a backend and web front end solution has been developed that allows the customer a direct real time access to all audit data of the service partners.

Development of an Audit Plan for Repair Shops – Leading Asian Electronics Company

Task The task was to develop an audit plan that increases the quality of service and performance significantly and sustainably – always under consideration of country-specific, cultural and legal framework. In a second step, a performance analysis tool should be developed that measures the audit results. Then these data undergo an internal comparison so that optimization potential can be derived therefrom.

Approach First, the objective of the specific application areas, the technical conditions, as well as the performance and quality requirements to the service providers were defined. Based on these results, a database model with web frontend was developed for finance, operations and technology. By means of a correlation matrix it represents parameters and target figures and, by weighting the data, it merges them to a comparable result for all service partners. Together with the customers the audit concept has been tested intensively in a "pilot mode" and was implemented worldwide in a three-stage rollout. A total revenue growth of € 3.2 million could be realized.
